A TLC home inspection covers more than 750 components across each major system — electrical, HVAC, plumbing, exterior, and interior – so you have a complete picture of the home before closing.
What doesn’t a home inspection cover?
A standard home inspection, also known as a property inspection, doesn’t include things inside walls, under concrete, or behind finished surfaces. That’s why we offer add-on services like sewer scope, mold, and termite inspections.
Industry group InterNACHI publishes a Standards of Practice and a Code of Ethics that outline what homeowners should expect to be included in an inspection report, and the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) publishes similar material pertinent to state law on its website. In Texas, home inspections can be performed only by TREC-licensed professionals with proper insurance.
What are the most common problems found in Austin home inspections?
